Alongside my busy working life, I was drawn to learning and understanding the time honoured traditional expression of fine art; as realism, sensitivity and sublety. I have always tried, in my portraits, to capture the soul and the mood. The Derbyshire landscape is another of my favourite natural artworks. I take commissions for portraits either drawn, in oils, watercolour or pastels.
