Carol Wilson

Carol is an artist and felt-maker who takes her inspiration from the dramatic views of the Hope Valley, where she lives and works. The surrounding rugged landscape provides a wealth of source material, with the strong shapes, textures and the ever-changing colours and light.

Carol uses mainly fairly-traded, naturally dyed local fleece, where the whole chain from farmer, dyer, feltmaker through to framer all takes place within the Hope Valley
