I am a multi-media abstract artist. I like to paint onto canvas mainly with acrylics. I also love to use a variety of media such as emulsion paint, sequins, buttons, fabric paint and black ink to give a three dimensional effect and a decorative element. My inspiration comes from nature and natural forms. I especially like to paint bird’s feathers because of the variety of vibrant colours, textures and patterns contained in them. I also like the repetition of the shapes. I am also attracted to the form of birds nests because of how intricate and decorative they are, something I also incorporate into my art work.
